The music for this movie was composed by David Shire.
I don't think there is any official soundtrack available for the movie, so I don't know any track titles that you can look for, sorry.
I saw Drive, he said when it first came out, and last night I heard the music from the movie again in a theatre play. Can anyone tell me who composed it? If I remember well, it played as an ambulance drove away from the university campus. Thankx.
Ok thank you. I already knew that 2004 vid. But I'm waiting for the official version of the film. I bought a rare dvd in internet of Drive He Said an A Safe Place (this too unrealised). But they have a poor quality. And do not have subtitles.
Waiting for Amazon...
Don't lie, don't cheat, don't be afraid but drive, he said!!!
Hi Michele,
The DVD is not (yet) available for this movie. You can add yourself on the list on Amazon.com, along with other people waiting for this movie to be released on DVD.
I couldn't find any trailer, so that's the reason why it's not available on this site. If you know where to find it or have it, please let me know so I can add it here.
If you'd like to have more information on this movie, you should check out the movie section on this site, where you'll find a videoclip of Jack receiving the Marquee Award at the CineVegas Festival in 2004. They show his movie Drive He Said, and in his speech he gives some background information to the people who are about to watch it.
You can check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNo8nzc5mGY
What kind of "site about Nicholson" is this if it doesn't allow us to gain lots of informations about Nicholson's first (of the few) movie as a director??? Where can I find the script? What about the trailer? When the DVD will be available on Amazon?
Have I to write to Nicholson himself for this?
