Jack Nicholson makes rare appearance to honor Adam Sandler at SNL 50th Anniversary

Jack Nicholson made a rare public appearance on Sunday night, introducing Adam Sandler during the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Adam Sandler," Nicholson announced.

The two previously co-starred in the 2003 comedy Anger Management.

Sandler led the audience in a cheer for Nicholson, telling him, "Love you, brother," before launching into a musical tribute to SNL's history.

At 87, Nicholson is a three-time Oscar winner whose illustrious career spanned more than five decades and nearly every genre.

Though he never officially retired, he hasn't acted since 2010's How Do You Know and has made only occasional public appearances in recent years — most notably attending a 2023 Lakers game in Los Angeles, where he was once a courtside regular.
